Hickman County offers a variety of  Career Technical programs of study in the areas listed below.

Mission

Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s opportunities.

Vision

To provide Tennessee students the opportunity to participate in a rigorous and relevant career and technical education program that leads to academic achievement and successful employment in a global economy.

Training

Hickman County CTE programs prepare students to enter the workforce, continue education at the post-secondary level, and enter society as well rounded individuals ready to face the changing educational and work environments.

New Industry 4.0 Diploma Distinction

The Industry 4.0 Diploma Distinction is a diploma distinction that allows students to pursue a career in a high-need, high-skill industry while in high school, as outlined in T.C.A. 49-6-420. The Industry 4.0 Diploma Distinction was developed for high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in a high-need, high-skill industry after graduation.

Dual Enrollment EMT is a partnership with Columbia State Community College.  Seniors with a 2.5 or higher GPA are eligible for the program.  Upon completion of the college credit program, students will take their EMT licensure test.  This program is available at East Hickman High School for both EHHS and HCHS students.
